Miss Rhonda LaRue McElveen passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro.
A lifelong resident of Bulloch County, LaRue was born to Theo and Leona Anderson McElveen on May 19, 1943, and was of the Baptist faith.
Miss McElveen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dorothy M. Knight; niece, Darlene Lewczyk; and nephew, W.D. Knight.
She is survived by niece, Angela Westall of Brooklet; four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Interment will be in Anderson Family Cemetery in Statesboro at a later date.
