Woman reports indecent exposure
GSU police

A woman told Georgia Southern University police an unknown male exposed himself to her during a short conversation after she finished up a run.

The victim went to the GSU police station to report the incident after it happened July 10, reports stated.

She said she was running near Malecki Drive sometime between 7:30 and 8:10 p.m. when the unknown man approached her and tried to talk to her. She told him she was “finishing up her run” but that he could ride his Lime scooter beside her as she ran, officers reported.

When she completed her workout run, the woman said she stopped near the bus stop at Forest and Plant drives and engaged in a brief conversation with the suspect.

According to GSU incident reports, the man said he was “new to the area” and that he was “filming a pornographic movie.” He asked the victim if she was interested, and she said she was not.

Then, he asked her if he could “grab her buttocks,” to which she replied “no.” The man then exposed his genitalia to her, and she left immediately, she said.

The victim said the suspect was a black male between 18 and 20 years old, but an officer who had been in the area and noticed the male talking to the victim said he appeared to be around 12 years old.
