The new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market will open Wednesday, Dec. 17, following a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m. The new store is located at 349 Brampton Ave. and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The store promises to provide Statesboro residents with low prices on a variety of merchandise, including fresh produce and meats, frozen foods, groceries, pharmacy and fuel. Customers can shop additional items including top holiday toys, gifts, electronics and home decor on Walmart.com through Site to Store, which will offer free shipping to the Statesboro Neighborhood Market, according to a Wal-Mart news release issued Wednesday afternoon.
