Three people were shot early Saturday morning on Dunlap Street, and Statesboro police are seeking information about the incident, despite two of the victims not wishing to pursue charges.
Two men and a woman suffered "non-life threatening" injuries after shots were fired around 3:28 a.m., said Statesboro Police Community Information Specialist Madison Bridges.
Two of the victims were treated at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
Also, two victims signed waivers of prosecution, asking that detectives not pursue the case on their behalf, but one victim did not and detectives are actively investigating, she said.
There was no description given for the suspects. Reports indicated the incident took place outside, not inside a building, she said.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Statesboro Police at (912) 764-9911. Tips may be made online at www.tipsoft.com or by sending the text "TIPSSPD" to 274637 (CRIMES). All information is strictly confidential, Bridges said.
