A Statesboro woman charged last week with killing her father confessed to the murder, and hid the victim's body in a closet for months before dragging him into the woods behind their Palmetto Court Apartments home. Statesboro Police Chief Mike Broadhead confirmed reports that Melissa Sue Kenimer, 38, killed 58-year-old David Kenimer and wrapped his body in a sheet and plastic bag before stuffing him into a closet. Bulloch County Coroner Jake Futch said the victim was killed sometime in July.
