"The scenarios printed in the Statesboro Herald on Dec. 17 for Comunity Voice was so true, I hope you will release them to the Associated Press and the national TV stations for national publication. They show exactly how far this coutry has fallen behind and maybe someone will wake up."

"I was very sorry and taken aback by the obits on the front page Sunday are a bit much for just a few to bestow so much honor. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm not. Thanks so much and I'm truly sorry."

"I'm tired of hearing about all the breakins at the college campus. What about all the cars being stolen around town? All these cars are being broken into and taken. Please catch whoever is stealing cars."

"The mall, Walmart, your local stores, your grocery stores are extremely busy. As much or more than ever. I wonder how much of what we read that sales are down are just a smokescreen? Just like a lot of the promise of change that was offered to Amerca one year ago. One more smokescreen."

"Regarding your Dec. 24 headline on the front page that says ‘Road crews give gift to local drivers.' Since when it is it a gift for someone to provide a service that my tax dollars are paying for?"

"I'm just wondering if the Statesboro Public Library is ever open? It is Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m. and the library is closed even though the hours say open Monday through Thursday until 8 p.m. I've never lived in a place where the library is hardly ever open. Someone needs to look into this."
