If you live in Register, Oliver, Daisy or Rocky Ford or Dover, be aware that the postal service is tryin' to close our small-town post offices. Call your congressional representatives today. Let's stop this before it's too late and we lose our small communities. Our senior citizens are too … old … to drive to another post office to pick up their mail or do their business. Please call.

If the city and county officials … took a … trip to St. Simon Island and the only thing they could come up with a $5 discount, next time, take a trip out to Mill Creek.

When all of you teachers are on food stamps, you can thank your Republican governor for not raisin' taxes or puttin' a tax on cigarettes.

Hallelujah! to the person who called in about drugging our children as early as pre-k. It is unthinkable to me that our school system has become a promoter of drug use on a wide scale in this country. Our children are conditioned to pop a pill to cure every problem. This practice must be stopped or there will be no future for every child who does not fit the model of a perfect straight A student.

When is our school … board gonna wake up and 'liminate so much of this top-heavy … management we have in our school system like all these assistant school superintendents … and … other help that we could do without in … this … time of crisis in our education money? … That's a good question. We need to replace some of these folks.
