Would the Herald please reprint Stan York's article about securing your belongings in your vehicle? ... The dumb-dumb that called in about the security guard at Splash in the 'Boro needs to read it. ... Taxes are high enough now without hirin' someone to be your bodyguard.

... I just reading Soundoff on Saturday's paper ... concernin' the flags at Six Points ... recyclin' center. Those flags are not furnished by the county. They're either bought or donated by ... individuals. So, if you would like to contribute a new flag ... to the recyclin' center ... feel free to do so and we will be proud to ... fly it. Thank you.

I will not vote for the E-SPLOSH in November until I know ... where the money has gone from the other ... elections. How 'bout the Statesboro Herald investigating what was taken in and how it was spent?

On Friday, I got a ... notice in the mail from the Veterans of Foreign Wars. ... Now, the thing that really ... got to me was it was stamped ... 'Made in China'. No wonder our country's goin' down the tube.

... I don't know who owns Simmons Shoppin' Center ... but I'm just a concerned citizen and I was callin' about all the potholes in the middle of the road of Simmons Shoppin' Center. When you go through there, it's like it's a roller coaster. Someone's gonna get their car ... messed up ... and once they do, the owner will be responsible. So, I think those potholes should be fixed. They're just too ... big.
