I would like to thank the kind couple on Burkhalter Circle who rescued my pup, Emmylou, and I ... when we lost our way and ended up two miles away from home on our very long and hot walk. ... You really saved the day and we are forever grateful.

Why are monopolies still legal? If I lived in Statesboro, I could get Internet through Frontier ... or Eagle Net. But because I live in register, I only have one option. Just one. Companies with monopolies don't have to provide good service because there's no competing for customers. Customers have no choice.

One night, I was workin' at the office real late. ... And the it was one o'clock in the mornin' ... when I was drivin' home. ... I was stopped by a local cop. ... Was I speedin'? ... No, that's not what he said. ... He said he just wanted to know where I was going at one o'clock in the mornin'. ... When did the Constitution die? ... I thought probable cause or law breakin' should be a reason to stop somebody.

A better headline for the Statesboro Herald article, 'Supreme Court eases campaign finance restrictions' ... would be, 'Supreme Court approves corporate-purchased government.'

     Universal health care is implemented in all industrialized countries … except the United States. … Even places like Cuba … have universal health care.
