On TV recently I heard Michelle Obama encouraging people to visit the Gulf Shores, that it was fine now. Can someone tell me why the president did not take his family to the Gulf Shores far get ... vacation instead chose Maine for their vacation.

This is to the person that said we should quit pickin' on Obama ... for not makin' changes. He's made lots of changes. All of them have been changed ... promises. He's slowly takin' over the control of our con ... economy. ... Just like all the other communists have done.

Soundoff should be more used for positive comments. For instance, 180 Fitness is not just a business. It is involved in community projects such as collecting for the Food Bank and Stuff the Bus School supply drive. They do a lot of good things for the community.
I am so tired of people like Hillary Clinton who is constantly ... bashin' the greedy rich and wants to confiscate profits and spread the wealth around. She's spendin' three to five million dollars on her daughter's wedding. The flowers are gonna cost half a million dollars. ... Hypocrite, hypocrite.

In response to the bad food at jail, how dare we, the taxpayers footing the bill, serve the county inmates bad food. I mean, the murderers, robbers, rapists that prey on us taxpayers, how dare we not serve them a five-course meal. That's why they stay in jail on our tax dollar. They are eating better than we are.

On the front page of July 28th Herald, I see a sign that reads, 'Put me to work now', with an explanation point. ... Wow, times have changed. I didn't get my job that way. I asked a person to hire me. But now it's an entitlement, I suppose. Or maybe a simple right.
