Sheriff's Foundation to hold Boston butt benefit

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is selling slow-roasted Boston butts to help fund various community programs. Tickets are $30 and butts will be ready for pick up at the Scout Hut located at 209 East Main Street in Statesboro on Friday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as on Saturday, March 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale benefits programs such as Safe Kids Bulloch, Neighborhood Watch, Scholarships for Kids, Project Lifesaver, Child ID and more, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Foundation Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BullochCountySheriffsFoundation/). Tickets are available at William James Middle School, Langston Chapel Middle School, The Country Store, Portal Elementary School, Portal Middle High School, Bulloch County Sheriff's Office and Bulloch Academy.
