Rain forces cancellation of Tales from the Tomb
TALES FROM TOMB 01

With a forecast of rain all day and into the evening, tonight's Tales from the Tomb, has been cancelled, said Joe McGlamery, president of the Bulloch County Historical Society, which produces the annual event.
"Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Mother Nature is going to cooperate with us this year and we had to make the decision to call off Tales from the Tomb for tonight," McGlamery said.
With so many actors involved in the production who portray the famous "spirits" from Eastside Cemetery, McGlamery said he wasn't sure a makeup date could be set for this year.
"We know how much people enjoy the event and it's unfortunate we have to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control," McGlamery said. "Right now, it doesn't appear it will be possible to reschedule Tales from the Tomb this year. It certainly is disappointing for all of us in the Historical Society, too."
McGlamery said all tickets purchased for the 2015 Tales from the Tomb will be valid for the 2016 event.
"We appreciate all of you who purchased tickets to support the Historical Society," McGlamery said. "We have a jump start on the 2016 Tales and it will be the best one yet."
