Queensborough National Bank & Trust Company has installed an interactive teller machine at its branch located at 201 South Main St.

According to a release from Queensborough, the ITMs look like regular ATMs but the new machines are able to offer many of the same services traditionally offered only inside a bank branch.

Mobile customers can now make deposits of cash or checks, cash checks, make loan and credit card payments, withdraw funds and transfer funds. But unlike traditional ATMs, exact change is available, and tellers are accessible via video from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

The ITM services use what is called QNBTNOW technology. The system utilizes a centralized team of tellers, housed in the QNBTNOW Operations Center in Augusta, who process teller transactions during extended hours, even when the branch is closed.

“We are excited to be the first in our market to have this exciting new state of the art technology,” said Erin Burnsed, Queensborough Branch Manager.

“Since we have retired our older, outdated ATM, this new upgrade will serve as a ‘bank in a box’ where customers can transact with local tellers and perform most of their banking transactions."

“Expanded hours, including Saturdays, make this new addition to Statesboro a fast, easy, and convenient way to handle your banking needs.”
