A Portal man was killed Thursday morning in a single vehicle crash on Ponderosa Road. Marc Hodges, 23, of Two Chop Road, was driving his 1996 Ford Explorer on Ponderosa Road around 2:45 a.m. Thursday when he lost control in negotiating a curve, according to a Georgia State Patrol report. Hodges was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected as the Explorer flipped over, the report states.
