Statesboro Police still seek information about two armed men who reportedly held up three victims Tuesday at Cambridge at Southern apartments.
Officer Charles Brown responded around 11:40 a.m. to the location, where two men, ages 20 and 21, and a woman, age 18, said they were robbed at gunpoint by two black males, according to reports.
One man was wearing all black, and the other wore a gray hoodie and jeans, the victims said. The men entered the home, showed a gun and left with an iPhone, book bag, wallet and $900 cash, Brown reported.
The suspects fled on foot. The case is being led by Statesboro Police Det. Keith Holloway.
Statesboro citizens were alerted by text about the robbery via a new program being used by the City of Statesboro, said Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner. To subscribe to the Nixle alert program for Statesboro, text “30458” to 888777.
