Statesboro police investigators are searching for the killer of an unidentified man shot early Wednesday morning at Campus Crossings Apartments, located on Lanier Drive near the Georgia Southern University campus. "We have (the victim) at the (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) crime lab in Savannah, and right now we are listing him as ‘John Doe,'" said Bulloch County Coroner Jake Futch. "Statesboro police are working on trying to find out" the man's identity.
