▲ PLEASANT AVENUE — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute where the man said the woman would not leave as asked. She said he would not stop verbally abusing her. He said he asked her to leave several times. While deputies were there, she agreed to leave.

▲ TOO SHORT ROAD — Someone said gasoline had been siphoned from their vehicle on three occasions.

▲ JOHN GODLEY LANE — Deputies responded to a reported burglary.

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ GARDEN DISTRICT — Someone reported a person missing. The missing person’s information was logged into a state crime information system and the case was turned over to detectives.

▲ SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A person was arrested after police responded to a domestic dispute.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — An off-duty officer about to begin work, alerted by a car horn blowing, saw a man in a car striking a woman in the face. The officer arrested the man and took him to jail.

▲ CORE CREDIT UNION — A woman called police about a person constantly calling the bank, harassing people.

▲ NORTH FOSS STREET — A person was arrested after a woman said the offender slammed her head into a door. EMS was called and the offender was located after having run out the back door.

▲ INSTITUTE STREET — Someone reported a car was damaged when someone threw a brick at it.

▲ BRANNEN STREET/GENTILLY DRIVE — A woman said someone cut her off in traffic and then pointed a gun at her. She called police after returning to her home in a different location.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — A man told police three men approached him, asking for money. He just wanted a report made.

▲ ALLEN CAIL DRIVE — A man reported the theft of a blue 2012 Hyundai Sonata.

▲ JULIA P. BRYANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — An administrator called police for a report of suspicious activity, but had already handled the disciplinary action regarding a student who was involved. Police reports released to the public did not include details of the incident.

▲ WEST JONES AVENUE — A man told police an unknown person fired three or four shots near his home. Police found no evidence or suspects. No one was injured. 

Earlier Wednesday, a man was shot at Butler Homes, and police searched areas nearby including West Jones Avenue, but this incident was unrelated to the shooting.
