Police report, 9/12/18
A man fell asleep at a convenience store while waiting for a ride after he fought with his wife. While he dozed, someone stole his belongings, including all his clothes, a phone and ID.

▲ THE STORE AT REGISTER — A man fell asleep while waiting for a ride after he fought with his wife. While he dozed, someone stole his belongings, including all his clothes, a phone and ID.

▲ OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH — A man who was accompanied by deputies to gather his belongings from a residence reported 10 pairs of shoes missing.

▲ WILSON ROAD — A woman said her husband, who had been away from home a while, got angry when she asked him to repair a vehicle. He grabbed her phone when she tried to call 911, but she fled and called from elsewhere. He was gone when deputies arrived, and she was given information about Safe Haven.

▲ KENNEDY BRIDGE ROAD — Deputies responded to a report of domestic dispute and suspicious activity.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ Due to recurrent computer issues experienced by the city of Statesboro, police reports were unavailable Monday and Tuesday.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and five traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES — Officers responded to a noise violation. 

In a separate call, a person was judicially referred to university authorities for discipline over an alcohol violation, as well as a "found property" report.

In yet another call, someone was arrested for marijuana possession.
