ARRESTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Aug.25-31:
    Surrendered by citizens — six dogs and 16 cats from rural county areas; two dogs and seven cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — 12 dogs and 14 cats from rural county areas; one dog and   one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — six dogs.
    Reclaimed by owners —  one dog.
    Died at shelter — four dogs and five cats.
    Euthanized — 28 dogs and a cat.
    Fees collected — $730.
