    SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE — Deputies and firefighters investigated a house fire around 9:30 p.m. Friday. Reports list the fire as arson and the investigation continues.
    In a separate incident at a different address around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, a man was treated at the hospital for an injury to his thumb and arm sustained when a gun he was cleaning went off.
    RED HILL CHUCH ROAD — A man told deputies around 2:15 a.m. Sunday that he came home to find a man in his house. He asked the man what he was doing, and the offender replied “nothing.” The complainant then started wrestling with and striking the trespassing male, who fled in a car waiting by the road.
    TOUCHDOWN DRIVE — An intoxicated man drove a vehicle into the side of a house around 3:50 a.m. Sunday. He left the scene but was apprehended shortly afterward.

    Officers issued two traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted one motorist Tuesday.
    CHANDLER ROAD — Officers arrested a man for underage drinking around 1 a.m. Saturday. While questioning the man after his arrest at the Bulloch County Jail, the offender, who is 19, kept telling officers he would be 21 in October and asking for a piece of paper with which to make a paper boat. He also asked whether he could call the arresting officer “doctor” instead of “officer.” According to reports, the suspect also asked if the officer “would be his best friend” and whether or not the officer “owned him.” When the officer told him he was in temporary custody, the suspect laughed and stated “I am totally your (expletive deleted).” The officer reported he told the suspect “he was not.”
    KENNEDY HALL — An officer on patrol around 11:30 p.m. Friday found a note taped to a door that read: “A clue is hidden in the original’s city hall in the quarantine for those who braw! Love your killer.”
    FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers responded around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to a reported verbal dispute.
