Statesboro Police Department
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A person was charged with shoplifting a Bluetooth speaker worth $150 and a wallet worth $18.
    Another shoplifter was caught concealing about $47 worth of clothing. It was a second offense for this subject.
    MARKET 100 APARTMENTS — A woman said a man grabbed her by the arm during an argument.
    LANIER DRIVE — A man was arrested for making false statements for telling police his car was stolen after it was found wrecked in a ditch.
    BRAMPTON AVENUE — A man reported the theft of a 2016 Nissan Altima. He said he saw someone drive it away. It was later recovered and returned.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    PAMELA WAY — An EMT was bitten by a dog when EMS responded to an emergency. The German shepherd mix did not have rabies vaccinations and was seized by humane enforcement.
    HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A man reported the theft of several undisclosed items from a storage container on his property.
    SPRING CREEK ROAD — A man and woman said they were drinking with another man when he threatened their dog with harm. The offender followed hem home and threw something, striking the woman in the foot, and turned over a grill.
    ZIP-N GASCO (HIGHWAY 67/DENMARK ROAD) — Deputies investigated a burglary where a man, caught on video, checked an empty bank bag before taking two lottery tickets. He entered the store by shattering the glass door with a four-way lug wrench.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted four motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
    Last week, troopers investigated 27 crashes with three fatalities and 10 reported injuries; made two DUI arrests; issued 14 citations and five warnings for seat belt violations; issued one child restraint citation; and issued 37 citations and 80 warnings for speeding.
