Incidents
BELK — A woman who shoplifted $315 worth of clothing (four items) was arrested afterwards. Police searched her and found illegal drugs in her possession as well.
ROBIN HOOD TRAIL — A man reported the theft of a green Kawasaki KLX125 dirt bike.
MORRIS HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — A fight drew officer to the scene, but the case was turned over to the Statesboro-Bulloch County Crime Suppression Team for further investigation.
SUMMITT APARTMENTS — A man met police at the hospital and claimed he was assaulted at the apartment building. Police gave him information on seeking warrants.
CITY OF STATESBORO — A terminated employee called the city, angry over being denied unemployment benefits, threatened that if his lights were cut off due to having no money to pay the bill, the complainant “would have a situation to deal with.”
