    Joyce Davis Lane, 56, Two Chop Road — criminal trespass.

Incidents
    CROMARTIE DRIVE — A man said someone broke into his car and stole property from the glove compartment.
    WALMART — Someone shoplifted dog food, a baby swing and soft drinks.
    EAGLE HEIGHTS APARTMENTS — A man reported his car stolen.


BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Mark Ludwick Monroe, 53, Georgia Highway 57, Cobbtown — driving while license suspended or revoked, no insurance, seat belt violation.
    Calvin Henry Smith, 39, Charleston Avenue — driving while license suspended or revoked, parole violation (pending).

Incidents
    JOHN R. COLEMAN ROAD — (Register) A man said the buyer of his car failed to pay money owed, and when he and another woman went to the buyer’s house to collect the money or car, a pistol was pulled and pointed at them.
    POPE ROAD — (Ellabell) A man said someone entered his home and stole a .22 caliber bolt action rifle. The man said he’d forgotten to lock his door.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
    Officers issued no traffic citations Thursday.
    Caleb Dwayne Dobson, 21, Jonesboro, Ill. — burglary (three counts).

Incidents
    Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted five motorists Thursday.
    FREEDOMS LANDING — Officers responded to the scene of an argument over the return of a hair dryer. An officer transported one of the subjects to her apartment to get the hair dryer and return it to the owner.
    In a separate incident, officers responded to a panic alarm. A resident reported that a suspicious person had approached her and tried to begin a conversation, which she tried to ignore. She stated that he was making her feel uneasy. The suspicious person had already left the scene when officers arrived. He was identified through surveillance tape and banned from campus.
    HENDRICKS HALL — Officers responded to a fire alarm. The building was checked, and a contractor stated that dust from a job had probably activated the alarm.
