JOHNNY WHITE ROAD - Someone stole a generator from the bed of a truck.
BROOK RUN - A woman reported a washing machine and lawn mower stolen from her home.
FRANKLIN ROAD - A woman told deputies her son was engaged in horse play on the school bus and a pencil was thrown. She said the driver stopped the bus, threw a book bag at the child and pushed him down in the seat. School officials told the woman that a video showed no such action. The mother told deputies she would pursue the matter further.
W.L. PLASTICS - A man said he lost his wallet and found it later in a trash can, but $260 was missing.
OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH - A man reported the theft of a blue 2012 Yamaha dirt bike.

Statesboro Police Department
Officers investigated 18 traffic accidents Aug. 25-27.
HIGHWAY 301 NORTH - Officers responded to a criminal trespass/suspicious activity incident. No further details were available.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and 10 traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists Aug. 25-27.
SOUTHERN PINES LAUNDRY ROOM - Someone reported a theft.
UNIVERSITY POINT - Officers investigated an alcohol violation that was handed over to judicial referral (no arrest).
SOUTHERN COURTYARD - A reported alcohol violation was handed over to judicial referral.
FREEDOM'S LANDING - Police responded to a drug complaint that was turned over to judicial referral.

G-LOT - Someone reported an automobile break-in.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Aug. 21-27, troopers investigated 26 crashes with eight reported injuries and arrested three on DUI charges. They also issued 12 citations and three warnings for seatbelt violations, one warning for child restraint violations, and 12 citations and 28 warnings for speeding.
