Incidents
    POLICE DEPARTMENT — A man who went to the police department to pick up a stolen wallet was arrested himself on a probation violation.
    UNITED APPLIANCE — A man and woman were arrested after trying to cash a counterfeit check.
    JOHNSON STREET — Someone stole a water heater and circuit breaker.
    Also, in a separate incident, police responded to an argument over car keys.
    HOMETOWN INN — An employee said a guest stole a TV from a room.

    PLANTATION MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A woman bit a man on the chest during an argument. The fight took place in presence of children and both were arrested.
    CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE — (Register) A man was arrested after someone found a two-year-old wandering in the roadway. Deputies awoke the man, who was supposed to be taking care of his son. Deputies contacted the Department of Family and Children Services, who already have a case on the family. The man was arrested.
    GA. 119 — (Stilson) An electric company reported someone broke a seal and obtained power illegally.

    Eric Steven Brown, 18, Harvey Drive — underage possession of alcohol and purchasing alcohol for an underage person.
    Derrick Lasharn Gatson, 42, Godley Road, Atlanta — public indecency.
    Linda C. Ihedioha, 18, Georgia Avenue — underage possession of alcohol.
    Kern Christopher Blount, 21, Johnson Street — possession of marijuana, possession of a drug related object and criminal trespass.

Incidents
    FRIDAY — Officers issued 10 traffic warnings, assisted three motorists, responded to three alarms and investigated one accident.
    SATURDAY — Officers issued nine traffic warnings, assisted two motorists, assisted one sick person, responded to one alarm and investigated two accidents.
    SUNDAY — Officers issued five traffic warnings, assisted three motorists, assisted another agency, responded to five alarms and investigated three accidents.
    KENNEDY HALL —Someone reported a vehicle window was broken.
    EAGLE VILLAGE — A wallet was stolen. In separate incidents, two people lodged drug complaints. In yet other incidents, several vehicles were reportedly damaged.
    UNIVERSITY VILLAGE —Some medicine was reported stolen.
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Someone reported a domestic dispute. In a separate incident someone reported a bicycle stolen.
    AKINS BOULEVARD —Officers responded to a report of a sick person, who was transported by EMS to the hospital, where he died Further details will be reported in Wednesday’s Statesboro Herald.
    OLYMPIC BOULEVARD — Someone reported fireworks being discharged.
    CENTENNIAL PLACE —Someone stole a set of headphones.
