INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

EVERGREEN COURT (ELDORA FARMS) - A man reported that a nickel-plated 9mm Taurus handgun was missing off his nightstand. He had locked and deadbolted all doors to his home but returned to find the front door no longer deadbolted, he told the deputy.
BURKHALTER ROAD - A deputy observed a large party, with many parked vehicles, at a residence Friday night. He advised tenants to lower the music volume and clear the roadway. When the Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a large party at the residence several hours later, tenants were warned of the possibility of a "maintaining a disorderly house" charge if there were further complaints.

Statesboro Police Department
STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE - Nobody was injured when a shotgun discharged inside the bedroom of an apartment about 6 p.m. Saturday, the Police Department reported. However, police arrested an 18-year-old man on a reckless conduct charge. He told the reporting officer that the gun went off while he was cleaning it, and the shot went through the ceiling.
EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER - A Statesboro resident being treated Saturday afternoon for injuries apparently received at home told police that an unknown person had hit her in the face with an unknown object.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued four traffic citations and four warnings and assisted six motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Aug. 14-20, troopers investigated 19 crashes with 12 reported injuries and arrested two drivers for DUI. Troopers also issued 11 citations and two warnings for seatbelt violations and 14 citations and 16 warnings for speeding.
