A woman called police to report a neighbor discharged a gun and the bullet entered her home, causing damage. Reports did not indicate any arrests.

INCIDENTS

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ SEED TICK ROAD — A man called deputies to report two men trespassing on his property. The men, located near the complainant’s property, said they were looking for a place to rent. They were served with a criminal trespass warning.

▲ COUNTRY CLUB ROAD — A delivery driver said an known person pulled in front of his truck, stopped him and got out, telling him he could not drive his truck down Brannen Drive. The suspect threatened to call the sheriff and that the driver would get a ticket.

▲ G. W. OLIVER ROAD — A man reported finding “contraband” on his property. Deputies seized and destroyed the contraband, which was not identified in reports.

▲ DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — Someone reported a vehicle stolen. Reports did not include a vehicle description.

▲ BURKHALTER ROAD —Deputies assisted Bulloch EMS with a patient who was reportedly highly intoxicated and resisted going to the hospital.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ COPPER BEECH TOWNHOUSES — A woman called police to report a neighbor discharged a gun and the bullet entered her home, causing damage. Reports did not indicate any arrests.

▲ MORRIS STREET — A woman called police to report an unwanted person on her rental property.

▲ NORTHSIDE DRIVE/EAST MAIN STREET — An officer responding to a call about a male walking in traffic saw a male walking along the side of the road with his “guardian” driving slowly behind him. When the officer turned around to stop them, the walking man got into the car and they left the area.

▲ SOUTH MAIN/BULLOCH STREET — Someone reported to police that a man walking had a weapon and aimed it at them. Police stopped the man, and found he had no weapon but had made a threat at the victims.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — Officers responding to an injured person report had to force open a door, since the victim could not move to open the door for them.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD — A man reported the theft of a bicycle off his porch.

▲ SUMMIT APARTMENTS — A man called police when another man failed to give him complete payment for mechanic work. Officers referred the matter to magistrate court.

▲ PITT-MOORE ROAD — Officers responded to a dispute between brothers.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued four traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted one motorist Tuesday.
