Arrests
    James Michael Fraley, 23, Five Chop Road — DUI, failure to maintain lane.
    Larry Smith, 53, U.S. Highway 301 — simple battery.
    Lenwood Heath Jr., 30, Park Street, Sardis — tag light violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI (refused test).
    John Franklin Horseman Jr., 24, Pulaski Highway — expired tag, suspended license.
    Kesha Swinson, 37, Park Place Apartments — criminal trespass.

Incidents
    PARK AVENUE — A woman told police of a burglary in which cameras, equipment, electronics and jewelry were stolen sometime between Jan. 3 and 11 p.m. Thursday.
    CINDY LANE — A man told police around 8:40 a.m. Saturday that his girlfriend scratched his chest and stabbed him in the shoulder. Police could not locate the offender.
    WAL-MART — A woman told police around 4:30 p.m. Friday that a man was taking pictures or video of her without her permission or prior knowledge.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman was arrested around 9:20 p.m. Friday after throwing a can of salmon at her husband. The man showed police where the can was “embedded” in the wall.
    JAMES STREET — A woman told police around 1:45 a.m. Saturday that a man chased her with a cutting tool and cut her arm.

    Burnice Aundra Johnson, 36, Old Stagecoach Road — marijuana possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession.
    James Walter Campbell, 34, Old Stagecoach Road — sale of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use/possession of a drug-related object, possession of a schedule III controlled substance.
    Michael Lawrence McLendon, 61, Middleton Road, Guyton — simple battery, criminal trespass.
    William McGhee Sheppard, 18, Franklin Road — underage possession of alcohol.
    Zachary John Sapp, 18, W.C. Hodges Road — DUI, underage possession of alcohol, speeding.
    Crystal Venise Lewis, 29, Williams Road — suspended license, failure to signal turn.
    Larry Lamont Clark, 32, Brad Lane — aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, third-degree cruelty to children, battery, interference with emergency phone calls, reckless conduct, pointing a firearm at another.
    Brian Keith Canty, 48, Orange Street — aggravated assault, simple battery, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime, public intoxication.

Incidents
    MARTIN MOBILE HOME PARK — A man told deputies around 10:45 a.m. Thursday that a woman threatened to damage his vehicle with a rock. The woman admitted yelling at the man because he entered her home without permission.
    EVERGREEN COURT — A man told deputies around 1:30 p.m. Thursday that four chrome rims were stolen from his shed porch.
    WILLIAMS ROAD — A woman told deputies around 4:30 p.m. Sunday that a man, angry about her Facebook page, slapped her face and pulled out her hair weave.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — Deputies responded around 1:40 a.m. Monday in reference to a man who accidentally shot himself in the leg when he went outside to investigate a noise. He placed the handgun in his waistband and it accidentally fired.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL POST 45
    The post reported the following activity for the week of July 21-27:

Incidents
    Troopers issued three seat belt citations, seven speeding citations, one child restraint citation and 18 total citations.
    Troopers also investigated 17 crashes with six reported injuries; stopped 50 vehicles; issued seven seat belt warnings, 20 speeding warnings and 57 total warnings; and assisted two motorists.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
    Taylor Victoria Thomas, 17, Waynesboro — possession of marijuana. 
    Daniel Patrick Ahern, 19, Fort Stewart — laying drag and DUI.
    Austin Reid Fender, 20, Georgia Avenue — DUI, possession of a false ID

Incidents
    Officers issued two traffic citations and seven traffic warnings and assisted seven   motorists Friday through Sunday.
    PI KAPPA PHI HOUSE — Officers made contact with a juvenile girl leaving the Pi Kappa Phi House around 3 a.m. Saturday. Juvenile Probation and the girl’s mother were contacted, and the juvenile was released to her mother.
    GNAT’S LANDING — Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with recovering a stolen vehicle around 1:05 p.m. Sunday. GSU police recovered the vehicle, and the vehicle and driver were turned over to Statesboro police.

    Candler County EMS — six medical calls Friday, four medical calls Saturday and three medical calls Sunday.
