STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Christopher Powell Jr., 32, East Main Street — suspended license, headlights violation.
    Yolanda Littles, 29, Packinghouse Road — expired license, seat belt violation.
    David Lamont Wells, 33, Black Creek Church Road, Brooklet — expired license, failure to maintain lane.
    Gary L. Bacon, 43, Anderson Road, Register — suspended license.

Incidents
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — Someone stole a locking device from an electric meter and illegally reconnected the power, which was cut off because of nonpayment.   
    HENRY STREET — A woman said someone damaged a shed and fence in her yard.
    BAY STREET — Someone broke into a home and stole an iPhone.
    THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — A TV, clothing, shoes and cellphone were stolen.
    PAWN CITY/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — Someone stole a TV and pawned it for $65.
    THE GROVE APARTMENTS — Someone entered a maintenance shed and stole property not listed in reports.
    EAGLE COURT APARTMENTS — A woman pushed a man twice during an argument over financial and relationship issues.
    FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A man told police there was a strong smell of burning marijuana coming through his vents and “disturbing his living space.”
    SPLASH IN THE BORO — A woman reported the theft of a Bath and Body Works bag, car keys, debit card, change and cellphone.
    FOREST WAY — Several tenants reported a burglary of one home. Reports did not list items stolen.
    REED STREET — A white four-door Ford F-150 SuperCrew was reported stolen.
    THE AVENUE AT SOUTHERN — A woman said an unknown offender has sent her several obscene and unwanted text messages.
UNIVERSITY VILLAGE AT SOUTHERN — A man who owes a woman for the purchase of a dog and vet bills, and has textbooks belonging to her, harasses her with unwanted contact, she told police. She has blocked him from social media sites but he keeps creating new accounts with which to contact her, she said.
    RAMBLE ROAD — A woman called police when she found a man inside her home without permission. He told police he thought the home was for rent and was checking it out.
    STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS — A man and woman argued over her infidelity, so he took everything he had bought and left the apartment. The woman told police he took her clothes, too.

Arrests
    Robert James Gay, 23, Pamela Way — suspended license.
    Benjamin Mathew Gregory, 36, Sam Roach Drive, Pembroke — probation violation.
    Kyler Stubbs, 21, Mike Brannen Road — crossing guard lines with weapons, drugs, intoxicants or other contraband.
    Michael Trevarus Taylor, 23, U.S. Highway 301 North — crossing guard lines with weapons, drugs, intoxicants or other contraband.
    Kenneth Avery Wiggins, 37, Autumn Court, Guyton - disorderly conduct, public intoxication.

Incidents
    BIRD ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said a man struck her in the face during an argument. He left and deputies did not locate him. Deputies gave the woman information about a safe shelter.
    OLNEY STATION/ELDORA ROAD — (Ellabell) A man driving a golf cart erratically admitted having consumed 10 beers. When arrested, he became unruly and uttered racist statements. Both he and the reporting deputy are white, according to reports. The man continued being unruly while being booked into the jail.
    FRINK ROAD — (Statesboro) A juvenile threatened an adult with shears and has a history of similar assaults. The incident occurred just before her 17th birthday, and deputies told her at that age she would be treated as an adult and possibly arrested in the future if she continued the behavior. They also advised her to seek anger management counseling.
