▲ EAST MICA COURT — A man reported that his firearm was stolen out of a company truck after he noticed that the vehicle’s door was slightly ajar and items in the glove compartment appeared to have been moved around. No description of the gun was included in the media summary, but the deputy entered a stolen gun report with the Georgia Crime Information Center.

▲ BCSO HEADQUARTERS — A county resident came to report fraudulent activity, a $700 transaction to American Airlines, shown on a statement from a Wells Fargo bank account.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ A RESIDENTIAL AREA — An anonymous witness reported that a man had pulled a woman by the neck and pushed her to the ground. The woman had been physically assaulted by the same man the previous day, the investigating officer noted. But the victim did not cooperate and the man had left the scene.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued five traffic citations and four traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.

▲ AGENCY ASSISTS — GSU officers assisted Statesboro police with incidents Friday on Lanier Drive, twice; Saturday on Chandler Road, at University Park and on Georgia Avenue; and Sunday on Gentilly Drive and a Park Place.

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 16 crashes with eight reported injuries and arrested 10 drivers on DUI charges. Troopers also issued 18 citations and two warnings for seatbelt violations, three citations and four warnings for child restraint violations, and 77 citations and 57 warnings for speeding in Bulloch County alone.
