Police Report - 6-17-14; A woman walked out of Walmart without paying for a $45 birthday cake.

    Antonio Lee Saunders, 29, South Main Street — marijuana possession.
    Coleman Everett Rogers, 23, University Place Apartments — probation violation.
    Johnny Roy Hagins, 39, Miller Street Extension — suspended license, excessive volume from vehicle.

    TAHITI TRAIL — Officers responded to a reported battery around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. A woman suffered cuts and bruises from the altercation, but the offender was not located. The case remains under investigation.
    WALMART — A woman walked out without paying for a $45 birthday cake around 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
    BLUE RIDGE DRIVE — Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. Saturday to an argument over a woman not obeying requests by her fiancé to wash certain clothes together.
    MIKELL STREET — Officers responded to the hospital around 10 p.m. Friday, where a woman claimed to have been attacked by two other females. The case is under investigation.

    Jai Devon Lee, 38, Proctor Street — disorderly conduct.
    Richard Earnest Swan, 32, Georgia Highway 121, Millen — marijuana possession.
    Albert James Joyner, 44, Ash Branch Church Road, Pembroke — wanted person.
    Justin McGregory Jones, 21, Church Street — public intoxication, disorderly conduct, unlawful conduct during a 911 call, loitering/prowling.
    Shavika Jeanette Williams, 31, 59th Street, Savannah — possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana.
    Ernest Jermaine Graham, 33, 59th Street, Savannah — cocaine possession, marijuana possession, obstruction, aggravated assault on a peace officer, fleeing/attempt to elude, speeding, suspended license, criminal trespass, DUI (refused test), open container.
    Nicholaus DeWayne Smith, 24, Lovett Street — battery, criminal trespass.
    Edward Robert Satkevich, 23, Ramble Road — giving false identity to law enforcement.
    Oscar Ramirez, 34, Pecan Grove Mobile Home Park, Portal — no driver’s license, operating an unregistered vehicle.
    Travis Manuel Chassereau, 31, Ash Branch Church Road, Pembroke — disorderly conduct.

    THE HAMMOCKS — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a call about suspicious persons around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A couple who claimed to be selling magazines door-to-door were informed they needed a business license.
    PLEASANT LANE — (Portal) A man told deputies around 9 a.m. Saturday that he woke up to being beaten by a man who drank a half gallon of liquor and then claimed he stole his cigarettes. Another man was inside the home throwing things, he said. The victim fled and hid under a mobile home near his own home.
    LESTER FORDHAM ROAD — (Portal) A woman told deputies around 2 p.m. Saturday that a man attacked her mother and herself. She told deputies the offender, her boyfriend, “looked like Jase off Duck Dynasty” and told them where to locate him. The two women were taken to the hospital by EMS and when deputies questioned the man, he denied laying hands on the women. He said they began acting oddly while they were outside by a fire and became angry when he went inside to avoid a confrontation and locked them outside.
    BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — (Brooklet) A man was arrested around 6:30 p.m. Sunday after an argument during which he slammed a woman’s head into a windshield after she grabbed his bottle of liquor and slapped him.
    BREAM ROAD — (Clito) A man whom a witness said was quite intoxicated became angry and acted violently because his children did not call him on Father’s Day around 8 p.m. Sunday.

    Troopers issued eight seat belt citations, seven speeding citations, four child restraint citations and 34 total citations.
    Troopers also investigated 29 crashes with 11 reported injuries; stopped 80 vehicles; issued seven seat belt warnings, 23 speeding warnings and 93 total warnings; and assisted five.

    None reported Friday through Sunday.

    Officers issued four traffic citations and eight traffic warnings and assisted seven  motorists Friday through Sunday.
