ARRESTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Adam Wayne Webster, 30, Live Oak Loop, Ellabell – probation violation.
    Charlie Jackson IV, 30, Meadow Drive – public intoxication.
    Zachary Stephens McBroom, 19, New Turner Drive, Swainsboro – aggravated battery, underage possession of alcohol.

 
INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    BANKS DAIRY ROAD – (Statesboro) A man walking, obviously drunk, was arrested for public intoxication.
    GEORGIA HIGHWAY 119 – (Brooklet) A juvenile who refused to shower was chastised by a deputy, who spoke with the father. The father was on the way home to deal with the juvenile, he said in reports.
    RIVER RETREAT – (Brooklet) A deputy responding to a report of an unsupervised child found the child in the home, door ajar, and parents upstairs. The mother said she and her child had been outside and she was on the patio watching him; that he was not unsupervised. The deputy reminded the parents that he could have been an intruder who could have harmed or kidnapped the child, and that the child could have wandered outside and come to harm.


Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of April 22-28:
    Surrendered by citizens – two dogs and nine cats from rural county areas; one dog and two cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers – 12 dogs and 15 cats from rural county areas; four dogs and three cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter – six dogs and two cats.
    Reclaimed by owners – seven dogs.
    Died at shelter – two dogs and 17 cats.
    Euthanized – 20 dogs and 12 cats.
    Fees collected - $650.
