Incidents
    UNIVERSITY PLAZA — Police met with a man around 10:15 p.m. Sunday. He said he was injured in a fight.
In a separate incident, police responded around 1:20 a.m. Sunday to a reported fight with knives involved, and the incident is being investigated.
Also, officers are investigating a reported robbery by sudden snatching around 1 a.m. Sunday. A woman said her wallet was snatched from her during an altercation.
    WAL-MART — Two men were arrested around 9:30 p.m. Friday for shoplifting a 12-pack of Kool-Aid watermelon Jammers and a pair of fingerless gloves.
    NORTH MAIN STREET — Police arrested a woman and charged her with arson around 12:30 a.m. Saturday after witnesses said she set fire to a storage room door.
    EAST MAIN STREET — Police responded to Mill Creek Elementary School around 3 p.m. Friday regarding an incident that occurred on Lester Road. Reports listed the incident as enticing a child for indecent purposes. Police are investigating the incident, and no further details were listed.

    Mica Eugene Baggett, 25, Vista Circle — criminal attempt to manufacture a schedule I narcotic, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, marijuana possession, possession/use of a drug-related object.
    Shnay Jalisa Lester, 23, North Mulberry Street — first-degree burglary.
John Henry Lewis, 32, South Main Street — sale of marijuana.
    Chadwick Jermell Jackson, 30, Hidden Hill Spur — suspended license.
    James Edward Powell, 36, Burkhalter Road — battery, criminal trespass, public intoxication.

Incidents
    CYPRESS LAKE ROAD — (Statesboro) A man told deputies around 6:30 a.m. Sunday that his wife’s red Volkswagen Jetta and a handgun inside were stolen.
    Also, deputies were told around 1:15 p.m. Sunday that someone kicked in a door to the Bulloch County Recycling Center and stole two cans of Vienna sausages.
    BURKHALTER MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) Deputies arrested a man around 1:40 p.m. Sunday for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon after they responded to a reported fight. The suspect was stopped while riding in a vehicle leaving the scene, and a check of his record showed he was a convicted felon. He reportedly stuck his handgun in a woman’s purse to avoid being caught, but deputies found the gun.
    TWIN FORKS ROAD — (Brooklet) A juvenile was arrested around 4 p.m. Sunday and charged with being a runaway juvenile, disorderly conduct and battery.

Incidents
    Officers issued two traffic warnings and assisted three motorists Friday through Sunday.
    EAGLE VILLAGE — Someone reported a stolen bike around 1:13 p.m. Friday. Investigators located the stolen bike at a local pawn shop. Warrants were issued for a suspect in the case.
