Police arrested a man after a woman told them he struck her with a pot and damaged her cell phone.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ MIKE BRANNEN ROAD — A man reported his daughter’s home, which had been vacant for a year but still contained property, was burglarized and vandalized.

In another case, a man said his disabled vehicle had been tampered with by an unknown person.

▲ SINKHOLE ROAD — Deputies responded to a domestic dispute.

▲ SOUTH JACKSON ROAD — EMS and deputies responded to a fight between two friends which left one with visible injuries. The other party was not at the scene.

▲ CIRCLE DRIVE — A man told deputies he took his dog outside and the dog acted as if he wanted to chase someone in the back yard. The dog did chase an unknown person who uttered a curse word as he jumped the fence and fled, the complainant said.

▲ MARSHAM DRIVE — Someone reported tools (a tool box and power tools) stolen from a vehicle.

▲ BELK — A juvenile was arrested for shoplifting $179 worth of clothes.

▲ WILDWOOD VILLAS — Officers responded to a complaint about possible property damage. The call was listed as a disorderly conduct complaint.

▲ FAIR ROAD — Officers stopped a speeding car and arrested occupants after finding a loaded gun and suspected marijuana inside the car.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Police arrested a man after a woman told them he struck her with a pot and damaged her cell phone.

▲ EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — A man suffering from dementia was discharged and walked away from the emergency room lobby. Police found him and returned him to a caregiver.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted four motorists.
