Statesboro Police Department
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man reported $1,750 worth of electronics stolen during a burglary.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — Loss prevention was unable to apprehend a person who walked out without paying for a $350 television.
    In another incident, a woman was arrested for shoplifting $97 worth of clothing and shoes.
    SOUTHERN DOWNS APARTMENTS — A tenant reported someone fired a shot that went through a glass door and struck a couch.
    SEASONS APARTMENTS — A woman said her live-in boyfriend pushed and kicked her, yet she showed no visible injuries. She asked that EMS take her to the hospital for treatment, and the boyfriend denied the accusations.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    LANGSTON CHAPEL ROAD — A woman said her mechanic told her a starter connector wire on her car had been intentionally cut. She said she suspects her ex-boyfriend, who has been acting oddly and placed a shotgun in his mouth recently, frightening her.
    HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A man reported the theft of a Penske rental truck. Incident reports listed a man as the offender who had recently been arrested for attempting to burglarize a local motorsports business.
    STONEBROOKE WAY — Deputies assisted a woman in getting out of bed and into a motorized scooter. She was unsteady and asked for medical attention but refused to go to a hospital. A family friend arrived and discussed problems with the woman getting help from family, and a deputy suggested she call social workers to report the matter.
    PEARL LANE — A man admitted starting an argument with a woman because he was stressed over his “stepdaughter taking a $1,000 tour to New York instead of enrolling in college.” He said he drank too much gin and started the argument.
