STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
      Joseph Warren Kennedy III, 27, Gabby’s Run – failure to obey traffic device, failure to maintain lane, DUI.
    David Chase Farrow, 25, Clairborne Avenue – DUI, failure to maintain lane.
    Erin Jen’Nae Smith, 19, Southern Courtyard – theft by shoplifting.
    Carlos Xavier Sevilla, 17, West Jones Avenue – second-degree criminal damage to property, possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
    James Carles Lee, 59, M.P. Martin Road, Brooklet – hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident, DUI (second offense).
 
Incidents
    EAST MAIN STREET – A woman called police around 11 p.m. Tuesday because her grandson, who had been drinking, wanted to drive her car. He told police he had been the last to put gas in it and should be able to drive it.
    McDONALD’s – (Archway Drive) Police responded to a fight between several males at 2:30 a.m. April 13. One man said he was attacked by another and the fight erupted. When officers arrived, one man tried to flee from the fight and ran into a patrol car, damaging a mirror.
    WALMART – A woman was arrested around 8 p.m. Monday after shoplifting condoms, yeast infection medication, soap, trash bags, and other hygiene items.

    Grady Pascal Scott, 22, Grimshaw Road – theft by deception.
    Justin Alan Williamson, 20, Lanier Drive – felony theft by receiving stolen property, wanted person.
    William Cale Wood, 22, South Wynn Road, Brooklet – probation violation.
    William Henry Busby Jr., 24, Bernard Smith Road – DUI.
    James Jeffrey Stubbs, 51, B. Stubbs Road – aggravated assault.
 
Incidents
    COON KEY COVE – (Ellabell) Deputies responded 1:45 p.m. Tuesday around to meet with a man who reported that a home had been ransacked and vandalized.
    OAK GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH – (Portal) Deputies met with a man around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday who reported light bulbs shattered by someone using a mop handle and an aluminum door that had apparently been stabbed several times with a large steak knife.
    BULLOCH ACADEMY – (Statesboro) A man who left his white 2004 Chevrolet Silverado at the school while visiting friends reported the truck stolen around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
