Statesboro Police Department
    FAIR ROAD — A man was stocking bread in a convenience store when a woman stole his Ray Ban sunglasses off a shelf, where he left them.
    KMART — Two people were arrested for shoplifting a notebook flashlight valued at $40; a $20 pair of gloves; $8 worth of vitamins and makeup valued at $2.
    CAMPUS CROSSINGS APARTMENTS — A man and woman argued over contraceptives and the thermostat.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    WHITAKER LANE — Deputies responding to a call about an unwanted person discovered a man who said he was sleeping in a car waiting in a resident to get home. Deputies learned the car was stolen out of Tattnall County and the man had methamphetamine, drug-related objects, sockets and spark plugs in his pockets;. He had also stolen three campaigns signs for sheriff’s candidate Jared Akins, probate judge candidate Lorna Deloach and Bulloch Board of Education candidate Josh Mattos. The offender admitted to having stolen the signs as well as the car, and he was arrested.
    TURKEY TRAIL — A woman said her husband awakened her by hitting her and accusing her of poisoning his drink. He locked her out of the house and has been abusing her 10 years, she said. She plans on leaving and did not want deputies to speak to the man.
    CHURCH STREET — A woman said her nephew, whom she raised, will not let her into the house or let a doctor see her. The man said doctors had changed her medications and have not assigned her a new doctor. The woman said she wanted to stay elsewhere and for the nephew to leave her alone.
    COWBOY WAY — A man told deputies another man on a motorcycle, with no helmet, was driving recklessly, almost hit him and made an obscene gesture at him while threatening him bodily harm.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued six traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted five motorists.
