Incidents
    BRAMPTON AVENUE — A woman said she received a text meant for someone else by someone threatening to defecate on another’s property.
    BELK — A man was arrested for shoplifting underwear.
    BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB — Someone stole a PlayStation 3.
    DUNLAP STREET — A woman said a man struck her and broke her windshield.
    PINELAND MENTAL HEALTH — (Gentilly Road) A man said a staff member grabbed him by the neck. There were no arrests and no visible injuries.
    LOWE’S — A man called police after another man made statements and gestures he felt were threatening.
    GATE STATION/SOUTH MAIN STREET — A mistake involving gas pumps caused a small mob when gas was accidentally being sold for 61 cents a gallon. The store stopped gasoline sales when the issue was discovered.
    NORTH MAIN STREET — A woman reported a purse, wallet and contents stolen from a car after someone shattered a small side window.
    UNITED APPLIANCE — Statesboro police are investigating a burglary. No additional details were released.
    WEST GRADY STREET — A woman stopped at the police department to complain that a man had been following her and calling all day, threatening to kill her.
    SOUTHERN POINTE APARTMENTS — A man said another man entered his home and tried to punch him in the face. Other offenders with him grabbed the victim by the neck, causing visible injury. Four were served with criminal trespass and one was not at the scene.
    THE GROVE — A man said his roommate moved his things. She said he pushed her and threatened her on Twitter over the incident.
    OPERATION MEDICINE DROP — The collection unit at the Statesboro Police Department yielded about 5,000 pills (three pounds) that will be disposed of in a manner that prevents their being absorbed into the environment.
    GOODWILL — A man was arrested after taking a saw and bike from a storage bin behind the store.
    BELK — A woman shoplifted several Polo shirts and was arrested.
    JAMES STREET — Police responded to an argument between two women over food stamps.

    Mark Eve Crutchfield, 20, Broomstraw Trace, Ellabell — probation violation.
    Grady Stewart Williams, 58, Williams Landing — marijuana possession, suspended license.
    Rufus Lee Wilson, 45, North College Street — felony theft by taking, theft by deception.
    Jim Oscar Smith, 40, Barbwire Drive, Killeen, Texas — disorderly conduct.

Incidents
    MAGNOLIA CHURCH ROAD — (Statesboro) A man walking down the road, knocking on doors and obviously intoxicated, told deputies his father-in-law was chasing him with a shotgun. Deputies returned him to Edenfield Lane, where the father-in-law said he accidentally called the offender by his daughter’s first husband’s name, and the offender became extremely angry and provoked a fight. The offender threatened to kill the older man and his daughter, so the father-in-law grabbed a bush ax and told the offender to leave. The older man denied owning a firearm, and the offender was arrested.
    NESMITH PROCTOR ROAD — (Brooklet) A man said he came home, found three empty whiskey bottles in the trash, and his wife started arguing with him about a .380-caliber pistol she thought he stole. She fell asleep but awoke to continue the argument. The man told her he wanted a divorce and when he called the bank to freeze their joint account, she pointed shotgun at him through a window. Deputies found the loaded shotgun on the bed, tested the woman for intoxication, found her to register 0.327 on the intoximeter and took her to jail, where she was held for a warrant.

    Officers issued one traffic citation Tuesday.
    Molly Carol Hopper, 18, Georgia Avenue — underage possession of alcohol.

    DEPARTMENT OF OUTREACH SERVICES — (Senior Companion Program) Investigators are working on a case regarding theft by deception, theft by taking and forgery.
    PEDESTRIUM — An officer on patrol discovered a crate of Red Bull Energy Drinks on the Pedestrium.  A representative for Red Bull was contacted and the crate was removed and returned to the representative. 
    CENTENNIAL PLACE — Officers discovered an intoxicated female at Centennial Place.  The woman was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol under 21 years of age.
