Police report -4-13-16; Two female roommates fought physically over an argument about dirty dishes.

Statesboro Police Department
    Maria Alejandra Amiel, 21, Hwy. 67 — theft by shoplifting.
    Jeniva Laquan Kendall, 33, Grady Johnson Road — theft by shoplifting, felon probation violation.
    Quyton Alexander Norman, 19, Rucker Lane — hit and run, failure to report accident with injury/death/damage; driving without a license, no insurance, bench warrant.
    Joshua Michael Blakely, 26, Watering Hole Court — DUI, driving without a valid license, failure to maintain lane.
    Swayde Theon Davis, 29, Strahan Street, Newington — possession of a schedule II controlled substance, improper stopping in roadway.
    Delina Tran Nguyen, 21, Grady Johnson Road — theft by shoplifting.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Jeffrey Sims Taylor, 22, Nature Way — suspended license.
    Alan Maurice Williams, 38, Cedarwood Acres Mobile Home Park — driving without a valid license.

INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
    PEACHTREE STREET — A woman said she was walking when several unknown people attacked her, striking her. She denied EMS treatment.
    EAST MAIN STREET — A victim and witnesses stated a man started a physical altercation and left the scene.
    KMART — A juvenile male shoplifted a $30 watch. He was arrested for shoplifting and then turned back over to his parents.
    BUTLER HOMES — A woman said a man hit her and then jumped out of a moving vehicle.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A woman who was tag-swapping at a self-checkout was charged with shoplifting $90 worth of stereo equipment and $30 worth of other items.
    In a separate incident a person tried walking out with a cart full of $388 worth of groceries without paying. The offender was arrested although payment was offered.
    Two other suspects tried concealing over $300 in assorted merchandise and leaving without paying, but they too were arrested.
    LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS — A complainant reported the theft of a money order valued at $475.
    RUCKER LANE — Two people were treated for visible injuries by EMS after a fight.
    NELSON WAY — A woman reported the theft of a mailbox.
    CHEEKY — Someone stole $20 worth of clothing and $5 worth of hygiene products. No arrests were made.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    STARLING ROAD — A man and woman argued because he took her keys, due to her being intoxicated and wanting to leave to purchase more alcohol.
    PLANTATION MOBILE HOME PARK — A man and woman argued. But due to drinking heavily, could not tell deputies what the argument was about.
    BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — A man said his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend “shot white marbles” with a slingshot at his home and the woman’s car, and also left a note telling the woman to come home and she was missed. The woman said she had been hiding at the complainant’s house because her ex-boyfriend abused her.
    PARADISE COVE — Two female roommates fought physically over an argument about dirty dishes, French fries that had been moved and demands that the other go back to her room.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued 16 traffic citations and seven traffic warnings and assisted 10 motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
    Troopers investigated 20 crashes with six reported injuries; issued 37 citations including two DUIs, seven seat belt tickets, one child restraint citation and 20 speeding tickets. Also, troopers issued 63 warnings including 40 for speeding and three for seat belt violations.
