▲ BRAMPTON AVENUE — Cleaning staff found opened evidence bags, a container used to hold a gun as evidence, and an envelope with a “hard substance” inside. Deputies recovered the items and stated in incident reports the items were from a closed case and were of no evidentiary value.

▲ ARCOLA ROAD — Deputies responded to a verbal dispute between a woman and her son.

▲ SWEETBRIAR TRAIL — During a dispute over a string marking property lines, one neighbor pushed another.

▲ COWBOY’S — Police responded to a report of battery at the Lanier Drive bar and restaurant. One person was arrested.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man who reported an entering auto incident that never happened was arrested on public intoxication charges.

▲ WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A juvenile was apprehended after shoplifting about $30 worth of merchandise.

In a separate case another juvenile was caught shoplifting about $31 worth of items.
