▲ T.R. SMITH ROAD — Someone reported two men in a vehicle driving past several times, looking at homes.

▲ MAY ROAD — A man told deputies another man and a woman asked to borrow $30. Once they arrived to get the cash, the male offender asked for another $20. The victim went inside his home to get the additional money and when he went back outside, he saw the offenders leaving with some of his tools.

▲ LIVE OAK LOOP — A woman said a neighbor and her son yelled obscenities at her regarding a dispute between the complainant and the offender over the complainant’s dog getting into the neighbor’s yard.

▲ OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH — A man was arrested on charges of loitering and prowling after being found walking around property he had no right or reason to be on.

➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ MORRIS STREET — Police arrested a suspect after someone reported a domestic dispute became physically violent.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD — A woman who said she was involved in a physical altercation with her significant other was given information on seeking warrants.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — People involved in a dispute were separated for the evening.

▲ RUCKER LANE — A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls from a man she had told to stop calling her.

➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued one traffic citation and no traffic warnings and assisted no motorists Wednesday. 

▲ PAULSON STADIUM — Officers arrested a man on charges of loitering and/or prowling.

In a separate case, a person was judicially referred to university officials for discipline after officers responded to a suspicious person and drug complaint call.
