➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ BULLOCH COUNTY JAIL — A person was arrested for intentionally damaging property within the jail.

▲ HIGHWAY 46 — A woman told deputies someone cut the locks to sheds on her property. She listed nothing missing but said she smelled the odor of gasoline or oil.

▲ NEVILS GROVELAND ROAD — Deputies responding to a report of a suspicious incident arrested a man on probation warrants.

▲ BROOK RUN DRIVE — A child was taken to a hospital for evaluation after making threats to harm himself or others.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ VALLEY ROAD — Officers responded to a reported simple battery incident and told the victim to call 911 if the offender returned.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man and woman argued, and he said she caused him a visible injury. She said he shoved her and she elbowed him in the eye. Both were given information on seeking warrants.

In a separate incident at a bar/restaurant not named in reports, several were arrested on public intoxication and fighting charges.

▲ SHELBY/EAST PARRISH STREETS — A pedestrian was struck by a car and taken by EMS to the hospital. After treatment the pedestrian was cited for being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

▲ JAMES STREET — A person injured in a fight was treated for injuries at a hospital but refused to press charges.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute that was verbal in nature.

In a different case, a man was arrested after a woman said he damaged a door and threatened her with harm.

▲ FAIR ROAD/VETERAN’S MEMORIAL PARKWAY — A skill saw fell from a truck making a left turn, and caused damage to a small car and a camper.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted two motorists.

▲ SOUTHERN COURTYARD — Officers are investigating a reported theft.

▲ EAGLE VILLAGE — Someone reported as theft by taking incident.


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 27 crashes with 14 reported injuries and arrested 17 drivers on DUI charges.

▲ Troopers also issued the following: 20 citations and eight warnings for seat belt violations; 16 citations and 15 warnings for speeding; two citations and two warnings for child restraint violations.
