Police report, 12/11/18
Deputies responded to a home where someone had called 911, and operators overheard an altercation. The parties involved said it was only a verbal dispute about the man cooking fish that was not to the woman’s satisfaction.

▲ WEST FOREST CIRCLE — Deputies responded to a home where someone had called 911, and operators overheard an altercation. The parties involved said it was only a verbal dispute about the man cooking fish that was not to the woman’s satisfaction.

▲ CLEARY ROAD — A woman said a man she knows walked through the woods to a camper in which she lives and threatened to hurt her and her kids if she didn’t go with him, so she went with him to his grandmother’s home, where they stayed in his van. She texted her roommate to pick her up because she feared the man and feared for her life, she said. She has told him previously to stay away from her home.

▲ BILLY HENDRIX ROAD — A woman reported a burglary in which a tablet, computer and coin collection were taken.

▲ KRUZE KOZY KORNER — A woman said someone stole a battery-operated tricycle, tools and copper from her shed.


➤ Statesboro Police Department 

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE — Officers responded to a reported fight where someone damaged a door. No one was arrested at the time.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — A resident told police a neighbor’s child poured oil into a car gas tank.

▲ VARIOUS LOCATIONS — Officers investigated 12 accidents between Friday and Sunday.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued two traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.

▲ PAULSON STADIUM — On two separate occasions, officers responded to reports of an injured person.

▲ RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY CENTER — Someone reported a theft.

▲ EAGLE VILLAGE — Officers responded to a call about a suspicious person.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES — Someone was judicially referred to university authorities for punishment over a drug issue. No one was criminally charged.

In a separate incident, officers responded to a domestic dispute.

▲ C-LOT — Someone was judicially referred to university authorities for punishment over a drug issue. No one was criminally charged.
