    Demond Raekwan Ross, 21, Pineland Avenue, Hinesville — criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark.

    Mitchell Lanier Whorley, 22, Tobacco Road, Metter — suspended license, following too closely, wanted person (Effingham County).

Statesboro Police Department
    STADIUM VIEW APARTMENTS — A tenant said two unknown men tried to enter the apartment.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — The hospital staff called police about a patient leaving the hospital. The patient was located and returned to his room.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — Someone stole a woman’s purse containing a wallet with $225 and pain medication. The purse was left in a shopping cart, unattended.
    CLYDE’S MARKET/FAIR ROAD — A woman left a wallet with $105 in it. When she returned for it, the wallet was gone.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    CLIFTON ROAD — A man showed deputies where a woman was harassing him by text after she had been warned by law enforcement not to do so. When deputies contacted her, she claimed she was only returning the man’s messages. Deputies issued a second criminal trespass order for her to leave the man and his wife alone.
    PERSIMMON PATH — A woman reported the theft of a trash can owned by a disposal service.
    WESCOTT ROAD — A man said he had applied for and been granted a green card twice. He said each time he tracked it and it had been sent, but never reached his address.
    HAYES LAKE ROAD — A woman told deputies a woman she recognized as having worked with her son, as well as a man, had been frequenting her home. The woman was known to ask for money, she said. They said once their truck was broke down in her driveway, and another time she saw them near her house, wandering, and yelled that she would not give them money. They then left, she said. She appeared frightened, deputies said, so they placed a watch on the home.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
    FREEDOM’S LANDING — Police investigated reports of a suspicious person in the bathroom.
