    Devante Emory Matthews, 22, Paige Avenue, Savannah — speeding, reckless driving.
    Terence Englier Brantley, 36, Julia Court, Grovetown — probation violation.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Carl Eugene Barr,48, Jonestown Road, Winston Salem, N.C. — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
    Juvelyn Rebutazo Reyes, 26, Jonestown Road, Winston Salem, N.C. — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Statesboro Police Department
    BULLOCH STREET — A man reported seeing a stranger in his yard who fled upon being noticed.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    OLD GROVELAND ROAD — A woman reported a scam where another female, communicating only by text or email, ordered products he complainant sells. The suspect sent a check for more than the amount owed, and asked the complainant to cash it and send the rest back to a certain address. The suspect said the extra money was so she could pay a doctor’s office, which she said was holding her daughter until the medical bill was paid.
    WINDING WAY — A deputy reported a case of child abuse to the Department of Family and Children Services.
    CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK — A woman said another woman threatened her with harm and called her names during a dispute about rent.
    LAKEVIEW ROAD — A man said someone forced entry into his home and took a large sum of cash from the kitchen and bedroom. The culprit also took a bag full of miscellaneous items, he said.
    HIGHWAY 67/INTERSTATE 16 — A man and woman from Winston-Salem, N.C., were seen sitting in a car beside a BP station. In light of recent convenience store robberies, a deputy checked them and discovered they had marijuana in the car. Both were arrested.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted two motorists.
    CHANDLER ROAD — A man fled after pelting a patrol car with an egg. He was captured and arrested, giving the reason for doing what he did as “I wanted to.”
