Police report - 11-26-14; Deputies responded to a report of shots fired around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

    Earnest Wayne Hall Jr., 24, Manassas Run, Stone Mountain, Ga. — marijuana possession.
    Quandre Felton, 18, Lanier Drive — criminal trespass.
    Angela Ulengchong, 42, North Taylor Court — felony theft by taking.
    Christopher Adam Pinckney, 22, Groover Homes — probation violation.
    UNIVERSITY PLACE APARTMENTS — Police responded around 5 p.m. Monday to the report of two people arguing because one became “aggressive” over the welfare of an animal. No arrests were made.
    PARKER’S ENDZONE — Police served an unwanted person with criminal trespass and made him leave the premises around 9:15 p.m. Monday. Before the officer could leave the store, the man had already returned and was arrested.
    EAST MAIN STREET — A woman told police around 1:30 p.m. Monday that she was riding a bicycle in an alley beside Sea Island Bank when a woman driving a white four-door sedan struck her, injuring her leg. The driver apparently left the scene and was unfound. There was no additional information about the car, such as a tag number. The victim asked to be taken to the hospital by EMS.
    LOWE’S — An employee was arrested for felony theft by taking after a store manager reported an internal investigation revealed she took $19,000 between Jan. 13 and Nov. 16. The woman reportedly stole the money over a period of time by taking cash from drop boxes.

    Bryan Alexander Linder, 32, Soloman Circle — failure to pay child support.
    James Darius Grace, 23, Lockett Drive, Register — battery.
    Russell Berger, 33, Mallard Lane, Richmond Hill — criminal trespass, obstruction.

    GEORGIA HIGHWAY 46 — A man tried to extinguish a fire inside a house by covering a burning car seat with a blanket around 8:30 p.m. Monday. When that didn’t work he grabbed another blanket, doused it in water, and smothered the fire. The blaze was at a neighbor’s home, and she ran to his home for help. She told deputies she had a lit candle on a table and went to the rest room to return and see the car seat on fire. Her small child suffered burns to his fingers and forehead and was taken to the hospital, then later to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta.
    GEORGIA HIGHWAY 24 — Deputies responded to a report of shots fired around 10:30 p.m. Monday. The deputy spoke with a teenager who said she was “making out” with another subject when the shots rang out and others “scrambled” when they saw the deputy arrive. A teen was found hiding in the woods, and beer, “bootlegger” wine and a smoking device were found on the premises. The juvenile who lived there fled into the woods, and no parent was found in the area. The homeowner later called the deputy, who arranged a meeting with the adult and child for further investigation.
    None reported Monday.
    Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted one motorist Monday.
