Statesboro Police Department

EAST OLLIFF STREET - A Blakewoods Apartments woman said that her sister broke her TV remote and took a Bluetooth speaker and a camcorder.
STILES INN - Police responded to a domestic disturbance.
FOXLAKE DRIVE - A man said that someone impersonating a Publisher's Clearinghouse representative called his grandfather and asked for money.
J.C. PENNEY - A man asked two males to leave. At first they refused, but they later left but threatened him with harm.
TAHITI TRAIL - Someone broke into a car and took a wallet, a cellphone and a jacket.
LESTER ROAD - A man reported the theft of a green Ford Excursion.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
COACH'S WAY/FIRST DOWN COURT - A man who was cutting doughnuts in a cul-de-sac ran a stop sign and was arrested on DUI charges.
SOUTHEAST BULLOCH MIDDLE SCHOOL - Two students fought physically because one touched the other's food at lunch.
JOHNSON DRIVE - A man reported the theft of a utility trailer.
TEAL CIRCLE - A woman said that she was frightened by the emotional reaction of a man to the loss of his grandfather and poor health of his grandmother. Deputies contacted the man's family, and he agreed to go home with them.
KEVIN DEAL ROAD - A barn used to store chicken litter caught fire. Statesboro firefighters extinguished the blaze.
MOORE ROAD - A man and woman argued because she believed he was selling drugs. She told deputies that she had told the man, whom she allowed to live with her because he was homeless, that he could smoke weed but not sell it, because she was afraid that he would get her busted. The man said that he was selling snacks to his friends.
HUNTER'S WAY - A woman reported the theft of three backpack blowers.
THOREAU TRAIL - A woman complained that her sister was digging holes in a pond dam, but the sister was only cleaning the spillway.
ELLIS ROAD - A woman who was being loud and using profanity was arrested for public intoxication. She resisted arrest, then went limp after being handcuffed and had to be picked up and placed in the patrol car.
HIGHWAY 46 - A man said that his intoxicated sister was dropped off at his house. She physically attacked him over bread he had bought from a store. She hid in a vehicle on the property until she was found, then said the man pushed her because she said something about his girlfriend.
LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL - Personal items were reportedly stolen from a locker room during a basketball game.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations or traffic warnings and assisted six motorists.
