Incidents
STATESBORO ENT AND HEARING CLINIC — A man told police at 8:28 a.m. Thursday that he saw a 16-year-old Transitions Learning Center student enter a vehicle parked at the office. The juvenile was arrested and taken to the Claxton Regional Youth Detention Center.
MADISON MEADOWS — A woman told police that someone struck the passenger side of her vehicle, damaging it, between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
111 SOUTH — A woman told police at 2:34 p.m. Thursday that someone used her information to open an account with AT&T.
BULLOCH COUNSELING CENTER — An employee told police at 1:26 p.m. Thursday that a client became angry and, as he walked out, slammed the door, causing it to break.
WILDWOOD DRIVE — A man told police that someone entered an open garage and stole a toolbox valued at $350 and more than $1,000 worth of tools between 10:10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday.
ASPEN HEIGHTS — A man told police at 3:41 p.m. Thursday that while he and his roommates were out of town between March 7 and 12, the porch swing was damaged. The roommates were notified Thursday that unless they filed a police report, they would be responsible for the damages.
EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — A woman told police at 5:18 p.m. Thursday that she saw someone enter her vehicle, and she later found $60 cash missing. Another woman was identified as the suspect and arrested.
CAMPUS CROSSINGS — A security guard told police at 11:36 p.m. Thursday that he saw a man dressed in all black clothing use a slim-jim to try to enter a vehicle and that when the security guard approached, the suspect ran away down the fence line.
CLUB 125 — Police saw a disturbance in the parking lot at 12:19 a.m. Friday. One man said another man busted out the window of the club after being escorted out of the establishment. A third man said a fourth man grabbed him and choked him. A fifth man said the man who busted out the window struck him after the fifth man escorted him out of the club. All parties were explained the warrant process, but no arrests were made.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA — A man told police at 1:54 a.m. Friday that while he was drawing on the sidewalk near Retrievers, another man took the hat containing the victim’s tips.
