A man said a caller from a St. Simons area number told him he was with the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, had a warrant for his arrest and could resolve it for a $300 payment. The complainant knew it was a scam.

▲ WILLOW HILL ROAD — A woman called deputies about an unknown man who had been on her property, knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell, for two hours. Deputies found the man in a red truck with its headlights on and asked him what he was doing. He shrugged, and said he was sent there by the Lord and was spirit-driven. He was arrested on obstruction charges.

▲ EAGLE BOULEVARD — A woman found several credit cards. Deputies took them for safekeeping and to try to locate the owner.

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST — A woman said a roommate that moved out a few days ago sends constant messages about past arguments they had, and the roommate’s boyfriend has been requesting unwanted chats with the complainant. She also said $200 is missing from her home.

▲ SOUTHWELL LANE — A woman said her son’s biological father has been harassing her via messages about past child support he owed and other matters.

▲ KENNEDY BRIDGE/WIGFALL ROADS — Deputies responded to a report of a fight on a school bus. The matter was resolved and turned over to school board officials for investigation.

▲ COUNTRY CLUB ROAD — A man said a tow truck driver threatened to harm him and kill him after he resolved an issue of overdue truck payments over the phone, thus negating the tow driver’s need to repossess the vehicle.

▲ HAWK’S RIDGE DRIVE — A man said a caller from a St. Simons area number told him he was with the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, had a warrant for his arrest and could resolve it for a $300 payment. The complainant knew it was a scam.

▲ STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — Officers responded to a verbal domestic dispute.

▲ CHANDLER ROAD — Parties involved in a domestic dispute/simple battery case were given information on taking warrants.

▲ Officers issued five traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
