▲ SKYE DRIVE — A man said a woman threatened to take their child out of state during a verbal argument over their relationship issues.

▲ TOUCHDOWN DRIVE — A man reported seeing a suspicious male run from his neighbor’s garage and leave in a black four-door sedan. The neighbor was unaware of the offender being in his garage and told deputies he did not find anything missing.

▲ KIWANIS OGEECHEE FAIRGROUNDS — A man reported a lost or stolen wallet.

▲ SHAW ROAD — A man told deputies his boss pulled a gun on him. The alleged offender showed deputies the gun and said he only showed it to the complainant after the complainant acted aggressively towards him.

▲ WOODROW AVENUE — A woman said a man called, telling her someone had stolen her Social Security Number, and wanted to know how  much cash she had in the bank. When she questioned his actions, he put his “boss” on the phone, who said a U.S. Marshal agent would come to the woman’s house to issue her a new Social Security Number. She said she gave them no information and had not lost and funds.

▲ FERNWOOD DRIVE — A woman said a man who was just released from prison, and wearing an ankle monitor, was in her back yard and she did not want him on her property due to his criminal record.

▲ KNIGHT’S INN — A welfare check of a woman who left the hotel on foot resulted in arrest of a wanted person.

▲ NORTH MAIN STREET — Officers responded to a hit and run incident.

▲ DOLLAR GENERAL/FAIR ROAD — A shoplifting suspect was cited and served with a criminal trespass warning after trying to steal a $1 blending sponge.

▲ FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A man who had previously been served with a criminal trespass warning was found on the property, and arrested.

▲ HIGHWAY 67— A resident reported damage to a car.

▲ VARIOUS LOCATIONS — Officers investigated five accidents Wednesday.

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations or traffic warnings, but assisted two motorists.

▲ UNIVERSITY PARK — Someone reported a theft.

▲ WELFARE CHECKS — Officers conducted welfare checks at the following locations Wednesday: Kennedy Hall, The Grove Apartments, and unspecified area of the GSU campus.

▲ I.T. BUILDING — Officers investigated a reported theft.

▲ FREEDOM’S LANDING — Someone reported items stolen.

▲ CARRUTH BUILDING — Officers responded to a report of a verbal altercation.

▲ AGENCY ASSIST — GSU officers assisted Statesboro police with a call at Baymont Inn.
